You qualify if:
☑ Your home currently has a storage (tank) electric water heater.
☑ Your home has adequate space, ventilation, warmth and drainage for the new unit.
☑ You live in a single-family or manufactured home.
☑ You own the qualifying home (not a tenant).
☑ Your home receives energy on an eligible Pacific Power rate schedule.
Note: Gas system conversions do not qualify for a rebate (Gas to electric transitions are not eligible).
Qualifying products
To help ensure customer satisfaction and energy cost savings, the program accepts only NEEA Tier 3 certified heat pump water heater models that:
• Meet strict energy efficiency standards
• Operate at quiet noise levels
• Include a one-year labor warranty and a 10-year parts warranty

Working with a Trade Ally
The Wattsmart® Homes program connects you with Trade Allies from Pacific Power’s network of approved technicians who are authorized to perform work in your area. Personalized support is available in both English and Spanish for qualifying customers.
If you qualify for a heat pump water heater replacement, a Trade Ally will need access to your current hot water heater, heating and cooling equipment and the installation location. Please plan for approximately one (1) day for project completion.
