See If You’re Eligible for a Free Heat Pump Water Heater

Make the switch today to a new Heat Pump Water Heater!

Eligible residential Pacific Power customers in Washington can switch to an electric Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) at no cost! Our qualified Trade Allies will perform the HPWH installation work on a first-come, first served basis.

Free services include:

Evaluating your current water heater and home to determine if a HPWH is a good fit for your residence and if the project qualifies for a rebate.
Delivery and installation of the HPWH at no cost.
Removal and disposal of the old electric water heater replaced by the new HPWH.

To ensure customer satisfaction and energy cost savings, only NEEA tier 3 certified HPWH models are installed by our program. To receive this certification, the model must meet strict energy efficiency standards, provide quiet operational noise levels for a better customer experience, as well as come with a one-year labor and ten-year parts warranty. For tier qualifications, please reference the Qualified Products List.

See if the Home Qualifies

Your home currently has a storage (tank) electric water heater.
The home has a suitable space for a HPWH.
You reside in a single-family or manufactured home.
You are the owner of the home (e.g., not a tenant, etc.).
The home must receive energy on an eligible Pacific Power rate schedule.
The project is not a gas system conversion (e.g., a transition from a gas to an electric water heater). Gas system conversions do not qualify for a rebate.
